
Ambassador: Dr. Amrita Iyengar
Dr. Amrita Iyengar is a general cardiology fellow at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is originally from Maysville, Kentucky, and completed medical school and internal medicine training at the University of Kentucky. She is interested in interventional cardiology, medical education, improving access to care for underserved populations-especially rural, which are near to her heart. She enjoys running and spending time with her spouse, kiddos, and 4 dogs.

The CardioNerds Ambassadors are fellows nominated by CardioNerds fellowships to represent education at their program. They are an esteemed group of highly motivated individuals with a passion for education. The goal is to both:
- Ensure representation on the platform from their programs
- Foster their individual personal & professional development
The CardioNerds Healy Honor Roll is named after Dr. Bernadine Patricia Healy, a CardioNerd Hero who was the first female director of the National Institutes of Health and accomplished incredible achievements during her career.
