This CardioNerds Pulmonary Embolism series features a comprehensive, contemporary approach to the evaluation and management of acute pulmonary embolism. The series covers the full spectrum of PE care—from initial diagnosis and risk stratification to advanced interventional therapies, surgical management, and long-term follow-up.

The series is led by series co-chairs Dr. Dinu Balanescu (Mayo Clinic) and Dr. Billy Joe Mullinax (Emory University), with contributions from expert faculty and fellows across leading institutions.

This series is developed in collaboration with the PERT Consortium. All CardioNerds content is planned, produced, and reviewed solely by CardioNerds.
