
Ambassador: Dr. Abhiram Challa
Dr. Abhiram Challa (@challa1218) is a chief general cardiology fellow at West Virginia University. He completed medical school at JNMC in India and internal medicine residency at the University of Kansas–Wichita. He is planning to pursue a career in electrophysiology and has a special interest in research, medical education, and accessible cardiovascular education. Outside the hospital, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing the guitar, traveling, and reading.

The CardioNerds Ambassadors are fellows nominated by CardioNerds fellowships to represent education at their program. They are an esteemed group of highly motivated individuals with a passion for education. The goal is to both:
- Ensure representation on the platform from their programs
- Foster their individual personal & professional development
The CardioNerds Healy Honor Roll is named after Dr. Bernadine Patricia Healy, a CardioNerd Hero who was the first female director of the National Institutes of Health and accomplished incredible achievements during her career.
