Ambassador: Dr. Sajan Gill
Sajan is a current 2nd year fellow at the University of Washington. Prior to fellowship he had completed IM residency and a Chief year at OHSU, as well as medical school in Australia. In residency Sajan was involved in medical student/resident education and global health (spending time in Alaksa and Botswana in residency).
Now in fellowship Sajan is planning to apply to ACHD with a hopeful goal of working in academics and helping with fellow, resident, and student education/program development. Outside of work, Sajan enjoys traveling and learning from other cultures, biking, beach volleyball, and spending time with his partner and border collie (Olive).

The CardioNerds Healy Honor Roll & Ambassadors Program
The CardioNerds Healy Honor Roll is the list of cardiovascular fellowship programs which support the CardioNerds mission to Democratize Cardiovascular Education. These programs foster the CardioNerds spirit by:
- Nominating a CardioNerds Ambassador – see below
- Contributing open-access content by way of CNCR cases: Learn more here.
The CardioNerds Ambassadors are fellows nominated by CardioNerds fellowships to represent education at their program. They are an esteemed group of highly motivated individuals with a passion for education. The goal is to both:
- Ensure representation on the platform from their programs
- Foster their individual personal & professional development
The CardioNerds Healy Honor Roll is named after Dr. Bernadine Patricia Healy, a CardioNerd Hero who was the first female director of the National Institutes of Health and accomplished incredible achievements during her career.
